5.  KBA Manager Report

     a. Water and water meter update

The water usage has been pretty good over the summer with the watering schedule and the rain received to date.

KBA approved to have the new wiring trenched to the pump house so that Lorne can test the new pumps to see if it improves the water storage amount. This fall the trenching, wiring and testing will occur. They will replace the 2 hp pumps with the 5 hp pumps to see how they work. They don’t want to do the testing when there are a lot of community members out as the water will be down for a day or so. The cost will be around $4,500.

6. Bylaw Compliance Report

No formal reports submitted to the committee

7. New Business:

Membership – ideas were discussed on how to increase the number of memberships in the community. A few committee members will go door to door to see if they can improve the membership payments. This will also be a good opportunity to update the membership list with emails and phone numbers.

2026 BBQ/Concert – There were several bands that would be interested in playing next year at our event. Dawn will gather the list from Carla Koot and the committee can discuss in the new year.

Christmas Party – Planned for December 6, 2025. More information will be sent out later in the fall and will request assistance from members on food and preparation as in past years.

8. Next meeting date
Next regular meeting will be held on October 8, 2025 at 7:00 pm at Rita’s house.

Meeting adjourned at 7:40 pm.
