Call to Order at 7:00 pm
1. Adoption of Agenda
M: THAT the Agenda be approved as previously circulated with the addition of road conditions on Cedar Cresent and messaging for the Christmas Party.

2. Approval of Minutes
M: That the Minutes of September 20, 2023 be approved as circulated

3. Financial Report
Carla K reported that the current account balance is $5,685.99 with one outstanding cheque. 66 members have paid their yearly membership.

4. KBA Manager Report
a) Path gates and signage: Ongoing and will revisit in the spring when they are able to move the gates.
b) Water system and restrictions: Work will be completed when Jon Barber is available to complete the trenching. This will likely occur in the spring, unless weather allows before that.
c) Emails and communication for the Christmas Party: The email responses from residents for the Christmas party were very low and an email was required to be sent out from the Organizing Committee to confirm attendance. In order to continue getting people out to events, future communication needs to be direct for responses but also needs to worded to encourage attendance.
d) Grading on Cedar Crescent: The potholes and deep grooves are still on the hill going down Cedar Cresent and are a concern when smaller vehicle travel this section of road. The road was graded on November 21, 2023 and the potholes were filled on November 22, 2023.
e) Sanding on Cedar Crescent: The hill on Cedar gets very slippery depending on the weather (freeze/thaw). Sanding will be completed as required.
f) New Residents List: There are several new community members. Lorne to confirm the new residents information on the list and will then send out the updated list to the residents.
5. Bylaw Compliance Report - There have been no issues identified
6. Current Business
a) Christmas Party - The Christmas Party is booked for Friday, December 8, 2023. Cocktails at 5pm and Supper at 6pm. Dina Dennis is coordinating the event and will be providing attendees with a list of items they should bring or can do to assist with the evening. This email will go out shortly. There is no credit available at the hall as it was used for this year’s AGM. The rental will be $100 for 4 hours or $275 for 5+ hours. Dwayne will find out how long we will need the hall for the event and book accordingly. We will need approximately 12 tables and chairs that the board will set up before the event. With regards to the meat and supplies needed for the evening, there is $164 left from the Summer BBQ that will be applied to this event. The receipts will be submitted by Dina for reimbursement for the items purchased. The other food for the event will be donated by the residents attending.
b) Thank you Card - Dwayne delivered the thank you cards to Mike and Stacey from Hidden Hills Campground. They were very appreciative of the tokens of appreciation.
