Memberships –

Rita and Craig have been contacting community members to update the membership list and obtain outstanding memberships. Through this process, they have received 19 more memberships. While meeting with the members, there were several comments and questions that came up including: the lease, water, paving of McNabb, trailer storage and social events.

Discussion about a Residents Package to be developed for new residents. This used to be prepared and handled out. It could include an information letter that includes details of the community and a link to the website.

A Lease Pursuit Sub-Committee could be developed to look into the lease status, background of the lease and determine steps that may assist with moving the process forward. Lorne will send out an email asking for interest in meeting to discuss the topic. Craig will draft an email.

BBQ and Concert-

The concert is booked for Saturday, July 4, 2026. Kris Klyne has been booked for entertainment. The concert will be from 7:00-9:00 pm.

Christmas Party-

The Christmas Party is planned for Saturday, December 6, 2025. Dawn will coordinate the food with assistance of Leila Blish and Connie Campbell. Dawn received the list of residents from Carla Koot, that assisted with cooking food last year. They will reach out to the residents to see if they will assist again. Dawn will prepare an email to send out to residents asking for attendance numbers for the event. Numbers to be received by November 22, 2025.

The idea of collecting for local food drive was discussed. Rita to discuss with Pap Geodrie’s to see how the fundraiser works. We can ask residents to bring non-perishable food items to the Christmas Party for donation. Rita will draft wording to include on the poster and in the event emails.

Website Cleanup-

The website information and files have been cleaned up.

4. Financial Report:

Rita presented the financial information and indicated that the current account balance is $4026. To date, there were 69 paid 2025 memberships.

5.  KBA Manager Report

     a. Water and water meter update

It was a good summer for water with scheduled waterings. The purchase of person pumps near the shoreline by residents helped with water usage. There was in issue with the pump last week due to it being plugged. Planned cleaning of the pumps is needed on an annual basis to prevent the pumps from getting plugged. On Friday, November 7, the pump will be pulled out, and a larger pump will be tested to see if the new electrical system will work.  Meter installation, quotes and billing is still being coordinated/discussed. Once resolved, meters will be installed in all residents’ homes.

     b. Snow Removal

Buena Vista will be completing the snow removal this winter. KBA’s plow truck is working again, so it will also be used for clean up.

6. Bylaw Compliance Report

No formal reports submitted to the committee

7. New Business:

Cloud Storage –

The info@kinookimaw.com email is not receiving emails properly and is difficult to access. Craig asked if the committee wanted to utilize Microsoft OneDrive for the KRA email. It will cost $6.00 per month and will allow all board members access to the files, etc.

M:      THAT the Microsoft OneDrive is purchased to organize and storage the KRA Board files and                           email address.

M/S: Muir Barber/Rita Hanoski
